Kids’ Sunday Worship: August 2

Good morning, Park Kids! Today we are reading from Joshua 2 and 6.

The people of God have come to the Promised Land but there were people in the land! So Joshua sent two men into Jericho to spy. The spies met Rahab and stayed at her house. Rahab hid the spies to keep them safe. Rahab said to the men, “Your God is God of heaven and earth. Please be kind to my family when God gives you Jericho.” She put a red cord on her window to remind the Israelites to keep her family safe. At the battle of Jericho, Joshua told the people to march quietly around Jericho. On the seventh day, they marched seven times. On the seventh time, the priests blew the trumpets and the people shouted. Jericho’s wall fell down! God kept Rahab and her family safe.

You won’t need anything for the activity video! We do not have a new storytime but you can watch past story times here.
