Park Family Ministry exists to partner with and empower parents to disciple their children. Discipleship happens in the everyday moments of life and we want to help you create patterns of discipleship in your own family. One way to do this is by setting up time dedicated to being together or engaging in a fun activity as a family. With that in mind we are inviting you to participate in Park’s “Family Fun Day” 2020! On Sunday, June 14, we’re encouraging you to participate by doing something fun as a family at any point of the day at any location you would like! Even though we will be separated, our hope is that each of us will be participating in “Family Fun Day” on the same day, scattered throughout the city. Plan ahead to make this time fun and special for your family knowing lots of families at Park are doing the same thing. Our hope is to create a sense of community and excitement for our families even though we will not be able to gather all together. There are countless ways to make this a special “Family Fun Day” for you and your children. You can be in your backyard or head to a park. You can keep it just your family, invite another Park family, or consider this a missional opportunity by inviting a neighbor family to participate with you! Here are some suggested activities for your family during Park’s family fun day: Whatever you decide to do, spend time having fun and pointing your kids towards Christ as you spend time together. You can spend the day playing with giant chalk, having a water balloon fight, making tie dye, or creating a big ice cream float! Use the hashtag #PKFamilyFunDay so everyone can see and feel the togetherness. Let’s make June 14th a fun and memorable experience for our families! We want you to do what feels safest and most comfortable for your family.
