WHAT? An internship is a learning and serving position with a particular area or service team at Park Church. Our interns are key contributors to the day-to-day ministries of our church, who learn to lead by doing. Through this semester-based program, you will have the opportunity to develop theologically while growing in practical ministry skills.

WHO?
Typically, interns are people in school or recently out of school who desire to develop as leaders while making an impact in the local church. Interns may be exploring vocational ministry or seeking to develop their leadership skills for careers in the marketplace.

Feel free to email anna@parkchurchdenver.org with any questions.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
We have many internship opportunities including Pastoral Interns and Ministry Interns. Below are several areas of focus.

PASTORAL INTERNS.
Pastoral Interns will work directly with Park Church pastors and should be primarily individuals considering vocational pastoral ministry. You will spend time doing reading and research, writing, learning how to prepare liturgies working to shape the life of our Sunday gatherings and assist our Gospel Community Leaders. You will gain valuable experience assisting Park Church's pastors as they teach, organize, and shepherd the church. Approx. 10 hours per week (outside of normal participation in the life of Park Church.)

MINISTRY INTERNS.
Ministry Interns work primarily with Park Church deacons and focus on a particular ministry of the church. Below is a list of available ministry internships. Generally these internships will require 5-10 hours per week (outside of normal participation in the life of Park Church.)

PARK KIDS INTERN. Park Kids Interns will help with the organization and management of our Sunday Park Kids ministry. In addition to Sundays, they will work with Park Kids deacons and help with volunteer scheduling & management, preparing materials, ordering supplies, etc.

CONNECTIONS INTERN. Our Connections Team is responsible for helping new people connect with others in the church and giving them every opportunity to get involved in the life of Park Church.

TECHNOLOGY / LOGISTICS INTERN. The Technology / Logistics Intern will help with the weekly logistics of Park Church including maintaining the website, editing & posting sermon and seminar audio, etc.

SEED INTERN. The SEED Intern will provide programmatic, logistical, and administrative support for the SEED Program and for the SEED Leaders. As an integral part of the SEED Team, responsibility, timeliness, and professionalism are key requirements for the individual. This intern will gain experience in outreach ministry, become familiar with nonprofit organizations in the Denver area, develop relationships with members of the Park Church community.

SERVE NORTH INTERN. The Serve North Intern will work with Wes & Laura Strebeck as they seek out ways to serve North High. One focus will be our partnership with sports at North High School. They will recruit team leaders, help them get groups together to go to games, give them ideas about signs and snacks, and follow through to make sure people are going. They will also be responsible to help with the Serve North info table in the gallery.
